The Nutrition Society of Malaysia (NSM) bids you Selamat Datang to the 15th Asian Congress of Nutrition (15th ACN), to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 12-15 September 2027. Organised under the auspices of the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies, we are honoured to be continuing the tradition of organising this series of Asian congress of nutrition since 1971. Indeed, NSM organised the 6th in this series in 1991, in Kuala Lumpur, which we fondly call “KL”.
We are pleased to welcome the nutrition fraternity back to KL in 2027. The NSM is a strong believer of working with various stakeholder within and outside the country. The theme of the congress bears testimony to this: Strengthening Regional Networks for Nutrition Action. 15 th ACN provides limitless opportunities for networking and collaboration, to enable us to build strategic alliances, to work smarter, for more fruitful nutrition activities.
The scientific programme will feature several key thematic focuses on issues and topics on the minds of policy makers, programme managers, researchers and all nutrition professionals in Asia and indeed, the rest of the world. Plan your input in symposia sessions, nutrition update sessions, posters and workshops. Come and share your views and experiences.
Our congress website is still a work-in-progress; but we do have useful information for all, even at this time. Firstly, there is information for you to get to know NSM better. You'll find titbits about KL and Malaysia, including mouth-watering local cuisines and enchanting places around the country. We have a well-developed and diverse transportation infrastructure to ease your pre-and post-conference explorations. There is also information about the overall conference programme and key focus themes. Do register your interest in the website so that we keep you updated on the upcoming 15th ACN.
Mark your calendar now. It's not too early to plan for your trip now. Be prepared to come to KL to meet your colleagues and friends, make new acquaintances, network for a more enriching journey to nutrition.
